Work Study Positions

Graphic Arts Assistant
Hours per week: 10-20

Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:

  • Construct pages for display on the College Cable Access Television Electronic Bulletin Board using Amiga computers
  • Maintain and update the information on the Electronic Bulletin Board as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of graphic art for television production and other use
  • Assist with the preparation of the College Cable Access Center monthly program guide

Some experience with graphics art production and computer graphics is preferred. Some training will be provided. apply

Clerical Assistant
Hours per week: 10-20

Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:

  • Assist with clerical record keeping
  • Maintain Part-time/Overtime wages records
  • Other assignments as ability allows

Some experience with payroll preparation and record keeping is preferred. Some training will be provided. apply

Production Assistant
Hours per week: 10-20

Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:

  • Assist with videotaping and/or live televising of studio and field produced television programs as assigned (may include operation of camera, audio equipment, lighting, or other production equipment and the staging and cleanup of sets)
  • Produce programs as assigned (based on ability)
  • Label program tapes as needed
  • Edit tapes as needed

Some experience with audiovisual equipment will be helpful. Training will be provided. apply

Operations Assistant
Hours per week: 10-20

Responsibilities may include any or all of the following:

  • Operate the master control room at the College Cable Access Center at IPFW during assigned shift
  • Load program tapes in machines for playback or recording
  • Adjust program picture and sound for best viewing
  • Dub videotapes as assigned
  • Label program tapes as needed
  • Edit tapes as needed
  • Assist with productions as needed

Some experience with audiovisual equipment will be helpful. Training will be provided. apply
